Clearwater Beach
Voted “Best Beach Town in Florida” by USA Today readers in 2013, Clearwater Beach is known for gorgeous white sand, sparkling waters and beachside fun for all ages, from kid-friendly water sports and cruises to beachside dining and dancing hot spots.
Situated in Pinellas County, west of Tampa and north of St. Petersburg, Clearwater Beach is separated from mainland Clearwater to the west by beautiful Memorial Causeway Drive and a bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway. At the south end of the Beach is a bridge to Sand Key, crossing over Clearwater Pass.
Clearwater Beach includes several miles of sugary white sand that stretch as far as the eye can see, and includes the Gulf of Mexico and portions of the Intracoastal Waterway.
For those who live on the beach, it is more difficult to decide what to do than to find something to do. How about quiet strolls in the evening, with comfortable ocean breezes and a picturesque sunset? Or, would you prefer boating, parasailing, swimming, golfing or shopping? When the sun slips into the Gulf of Mexico, the evenings at Clearwater Beach are just as spectacular as the days. Pier 60 comes alive to celebrate the sunset with artists, street performers and magical entertainment second to none.
Whether you are searching for a vacation home or a primary residence, Clearwater Beach boasts an abundance of choices for the active lifestyle. Condominiums have become extremely popular on the beach, with some new construction available. If you prefer a single-family residence, you will find lots of choices in the area.
